Hello Steady, Inc. ("Hello Steady") offers nonclinical support tools and programs, including the Steady Social App and Sherpa by Hello Steady (together, the "Services"). The Services are designed to provide education, reflection, and peer support for people affected by substance use, including individuals and their families.
The Services do not include licensed professional services, such as therapy, counseling, social work, medical, or legal services, and they are not a substitute for clinical diagnosis, medical treatment, or crisis intervention. Hello Steady does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other healthcare advice, and the Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
Family Support Specialists (“Specialists”) offer nonclinical support based on lived experience and training in family support approaches. They do not act as therapists, counselors, social workers, or healthcare providers when working with you, even if a Specialist holds a professional license. Using the Services does not create a clinician and patient relationship.
Some features use artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI responses may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not professional advice. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, safety, or treatment decisions.
The Services are not an emergency service and are not monitored in real time. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. If you or someone you know is in crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (U.S.). For a possible overdose, call 911 right away.
Any decisions you make about your health, your care, or the care of someone close to you are your own.
By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept these limitations. Questions about this disclaimer can be sent to hello@hellosteady.com.
