Why 'one bad day' isn't a failure

Setbacks are information, not identity.

Setbacks are information, not identity.

One hard day, one intense craving, or one setback does not undo the work you've done.

Shame narrows your view and information expands it. Instead of asking what is wrong with you, ask what was happening around you. Setbacks often reveal stress, isolation, or missing support, not weakness.

If this applies right now, name what happened factually, ask whether you were hungry, angry, lonely, or tired, and do one stabilizing action next. Continuation is strength.
